CPA Model Conditions for the Hiring of Plant 2021

All hire contracts are subject to the standard CPA Model Conditions of Hire. Click to access the CPA Model Conditions (2021).

Off-Hiring Equipment

It is the hirer’s responsibility to off-hire equipment. A valid off-hire reference number must be obtained.

Equipment is typically collected within 7 days of off-hire. To assist with collection, please ensure the following:

  • Equipment is left outside in a safe and accessible location.
  • Machines have sufficient charge and/or fuel to allow collection.
  • Provide an up-to-date site contact name and phone number.
  • Inform us of any site restrictions (e.g. opening times, booking requirements).

Condition of Equipment

Equipment must be returned in the same condition as received. If equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged while on-site, the hirer is responsible for repair or replacement under their own Hired-In Plant Insurance.

If insurance cover is not in place, you must inform Streamline Site Solutions Ltd before the hire starts so that damage and theft waivers can be added to the contract.

Equipment returned in a dirty condition will incur a cleaning charge.

IPAF Compliance

It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that all operators hold current and valid IPAF training qualifications and perform pre-use inspections (daily checks) in accordance with manufacturer and IPAF guidelines. Please note that engineer call-outs resulting from failure to carry out these daily checks will be chargeable.

Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment terms are 30 days from the end of the month in which the invoice is issued. Please ensure prompt payment, as we share data with Creditsafe and your payment history may be reflected on your credit report.
